The incarnation of the video, posted to a Facebook page called Politics WatchDog, that caught the greatest media attention after first being spotted by the Washington Post Thursday didn't have any fact-checking information tagged to it as of Friday afternoon. At that point, it had been viewed roughly 2.5 million times.
The video, which uses real footage of Pelosi slowed down by 25 percent, has circulated widely since Thursday. It comes amid a pitched battle between Pelosi and President Donald Trump, with each leader depicting the other as incompetent. And it is the latest chapter in an ongoing debate over how and whether companies like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube should police their networks for problematic content.

At the very least, if any video shred on FB is deemed a falsely edited version, and it is defended as such by the intended victim, disclaimer banners large enough to be unavoidably seen must be attached prior to video views.
