In a rare example of public dissent, some Facebook employees are taking to Twitter to express strong disagreements with CEO Mark Zuckerberg's decision not to take any action on a series of controversial posts last week from President Donald Trump, including an apparent threat that"looting" would lead to"shooting."

Jason Stirman, a design manager at Facebook, said he disagreed with Zuckerberg's decision to do"nothing" about Trump's recent posts."I'm not alone inside of FB. There isn't a neutral position on racism," he wrote in a tweet on Saturday.

— Stirman May 30, 2020 "I've been struggling with how to respond to the President's tweets and posts all day. Facebook AKA The Star

I quit Facebook, I'm done with that garbage, I'm asking people to boycott and leave Facebook at least until reforms are made.

an actual DEMON

Apparent threat?

So tell them to quit? Typical liberals.

That’s because FUCKERBURG IS BLOWING tRUMP!

Thin line when it comes to freedom of speech. I don’t follow trump and don’t see his FB posts. Sooo. You make up your mind to listen or ignore.

Zuckerberg has already shown us his agenda. He did plenty of psychological research finding that hate and division drive engagement. He shut down criticism, by hiring a right wing propaganda firm. Promoting chaos has been profitable, and kept him from regulation and taxes.

All fired
