CDC says that so far in 2020, Florida has had 1,762 deaths from attributed to COVID-19 and 5,185 attributed to pneumonia. The pneumonia deaths in Florida from 2013-2018 for the same time period are 918. We should probably just believe all the numbers coming out of Florida, right?

The number is inflated because of the funding attached to covid patients. However, 100k isn't a bad number for a new virus that no one is immune to yet. Flu kills 56k each year - with vaccines and years to become immune.
