Former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge said Wednesday that he was disappointed in President Donald Trump's"reality TV approach" of sending federal agents to US cities to quell protests.
"I'm not even sure they have a plan. Have they talked to the mayor? Have they talked to the chief of police? Have they talked to the US attorney? They'll leave in a couple of weeks and the lawlessness will reemerge, and they still haven't dealt with the social and economic conditions that underpin the lawlessness," Ridge told CNN's John Berman on"Anderson Cooper 360.
So what would Ridge do? Seriously. When riots are destroying cities. He can criticize from the cheap seats.
Just more nonsense from these former government workers who are for lawlessness and anarchy!! They are an embarrassment to the country!! Most Americans are glad to see the president do what the failed liberal socialists government did not do! And that is to stop the lawlessness!

Is Tom Ridge also upset that state and local police are not permitted to stop the arson and looting in those cities, or it this more political posturing? Some level of government has to do their job to avoid vigilante justice and the next Ahmaud Arbery.
