Three people were shot inside a Kentucky shopping mall on Sunday in an incident that"does not appear to be random," police said.

The Lexington Police Department responded to the shooting at Fayette Mall at about 4 p.m. Sunday. Officials on Twitter said it was not an active shooter incident. "It appears from the information that we’ve gathered thus far that persons involved knew each other, or were at least familiar with each other," Lexington Police Chief Lawrence Weathers said during a news conference.

Police said three people were shot and taken to a hospital, the Lexington Herald-Leader reported. Officials said they do not have an update on their conditions.Alicia Spurlock told the Lexington newspaper that she and her daughter heard multiple gunshots as they left a store.Fayette Mall said on Twitter that it would remain closed while the investigation continued.

Well if suspects are black we won’t hear about this again. They have shootings with each other everywhere in public including malls.
