EPA to Roll Back Obama-Era Regulations on Clean Water

WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump’s administration is announcing plans to undo an Obama-era policy that expanded federal oversight of the country’s waterways, while leaving further changes to clean-water rules up to a later overhaul.

The decision, expected to be announced by the Environmental Protection Agency Thursday afternoon, is the latest lurch toward new clean-water regulations after almost two decades of uncertainty about federal authority over the country’s bays, rivers and streams, especially smaller seasonal tributaries...

At this point the EPA could at least be honest and rename itself the EDA, or Environmental Destruction Agency.

This is bad news for anyone who drinks water, swims, hunts, fishes, or has a business related to those. Bad idea.

I don't understand why people would vote for a man who feels that it is not important to protect the water that we all drink to stay alive.

I think having an overarching body look after clean water is good. Otherwise, each county/city will have their own, just like recycling, very confusing.
