The Environmental Protection Agency announced Monday it intends to set more stringent standards on water pollution from coal power plants, reinstating regulations that the Trump administration had rolled back.

It's a stark reversal from the position of the former President's administration, which rolled back dozens of Obama-era environmental regulations. The new rule would affect around 100 coal-fired power plants, according to an EPA official.

EPA Administrator Michael Regan said in a Monday news release the agency would"quickly move to strengthen water quality protections and further reduce power plant pollution that can contain toxic metals such as mercury, arsenic, and selenium."Read More"EPA is committed to science-based policy decisions to protect our natural resources and public health," he said in the statement.

Great biden is going to keep destroying our infrastructure!!!

Trump administration had rolled back regulations, Trump administration had won time for US by banning travel from China, Biden and Harris administration didn't ban travel from India at critical time but let more flights in that results the 4 wave of COVID-19 infection happening.

Seems like a pretty fake way to re-regulate the deregulations.

GOP is all about big business and profit. Where did their so called family values go. Since these people are being voted in, I assume those voters have the same views so you are included in the lose of family values.

. GOOD!!... . Trump Was An Environmental Disaster, For The USA - . And, Mother-Earth. .

None of this matters unless we get China to comply.

thanks
