The strongest performing markets for the pop-rock doc were Los Angeles , New York, San Francisco, Austin and Chicago., the comedy/horror romp from writer-director Deon Taylor, carried much of its momentum from the debut last week. After widening its release to 539 theaters this week , the Mike Epps-starring film is on track to gross $604K with a per screen average of $1,121. Though thesequel suffered a steep 40% gross drop-off from last week’s premiere, the vampire comedy easily crossed the $2M mark this week with much more to add to their piggy bank in coming weeks.
