, Villeneuve said: “I wanted at the beginning to do the two parts simultaneously. For several reasons, it didn’t happen, and I agreed to the challenge of making part one and then wait to see if the movie rings enough enthusiasm… As I was doing the the first part, I really put all my passion into it, in case it would be the only one. But I’m optimistic.

“The story in itself sets up for a sequel. The production is so amazing and the storytelling is so compelling that it’s not going to be judged on box office alone,” Sarnoff said. The first “Dune” film stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Jason Momoa, Javier Bardem and more. My restless nights…

Great, now there will be 5 hours of boring, plodding, undeveloped character interactions to sit and endure through. 😑

Yes, we did it! I'm very happy.

Ooh. I'll make sure to buy earplugs so I can see it. Dune Part 1 was such a miserable nightmare of unfocussed noise, I'm not sure if it was a good movie or not. I was so looking forward to it, but I ended up squirming with my fingers in my ears for the whole film.

Hype to oblivion for dune part 2 dunemovie

YES!!!! I enjoyed the new movie of it! It's even better than the David Lynch version! DunePartTwo

The spice must flow.

Wasn't a masterpiece but was better than expected.

i hope it has a plot, unlike the first movie which was obviously just used as a buildup for movie 2

Guys Dune is a must watch! The story is about who can eat all the sand in the desert within 2 days and by the end of the movie, Timmy chomalet turns to glob gal galab, it’s scary. Zendaya comes and saves him!!

yaaaay

Yes.

Maybe 2 will be remotely fun to watch. Dune was a sand washed bore fest. So many elements I wanted to love but it was boring..

Despite hybrid release, 'Dune' draws well on the big screenNEW YORK (AP) — Denis Villeneuve's “Dune” debuted with $40.1 million in ticket sales in its opening weekend in North America, drawing a large number of moviegoers to see the thundering sci-fi epic on the big screen despite it also being available to stream in homes. I went. It was fantastic. DUNE Saw it on the big screen, which is definitely what the film needs since there's a lot of visual storytelling. gpettey I would have loved to feel safe seeing this in a theatre. When we get to a point where I do feel safe, I will ALWAYS choose the theatre over streaming. It’s so fun and big and immersive.
