After coming into the WWE back in the early 2000s, Drew was pegged to be the next big thing by Mr. McMahon himself.
He would float in the upper midcard for a while, feuding with Roman Reigns heading into last year's WrestleMania before finally getting the push many fans thought he deserved towards the end of 2019. So when McIntyre won the Royal Rumble and came out the next night on RAW, he made his declaration for WrestleMania 36 and challenged Lesnar.
