In a live interview with NBC’s Savannah Guthrie on, Dr. Anthony Fauci responded to comments made this week by podcast host Joe Rogan, who said young, healthy people don’t need to get vaccinated. “That’s incorrect,” Fauci said. “You can get infected, and will get infected, if you put yourself at risk.”... Fauci said Rogan’s advice to young people was simply wrong. “The reason why is that—you’re talking about yourself in a vacuum then. You’re worried about yourself getting infected and likelihood that you’re not going to get symptoms,” Fauci said.
Guthrie followed up, asking “so you say young, healthy people should get vaccinated?” And Fauci said “absolutely...absolutely.”
