So you put the weapon away and bring out something else. This is where Autoloading comes in, as it means the magazine will automatically be full the next time you need it, and you will not be fumbling to reload as the champion heals itself .
3. This weapon also has armor-piercing rounds, which does extra damage to combatants’ shields, which yes, includes barrier shields. That’s an extra 5% damage to those shields, so faster popping. 4. This is a Warmind weapon, so it spawns Warmind Cells. Yes, those have been nerfed a bit, but spawning a Warmind Cell is essentially like having another perk active, even if you’re not doing a full Warmind build. It’s a nice bonus, and if you do kill a champion with this gun instead of just popping the shield, I think it should auto-spawn a Warmind Cell due to the enemy’s rank.
So in conclusion, this is the perfect gun for the champion meta right now. No it’s not good for mob clearing or PvP, and it may not be good in future seasons when there are better anti-barrier options, but it’s good for the next five months at least, and you’d be crazy not to pick it up before it’s gone, as these are borderline impossible to target farm these days.
