The Department of Energy may have shipped dangerous radioactive waste into a landfill in Nevada for several years

A statement from Sisolak said Energy Department officials told him on July 3 that the Nevada National Security Site may have received a total of nine shipments and 32 containers of "mixed low-level radioactive waste" from a facility in Tennessee from 2013 to 2018 that were supposed to be"low-level radioactive waste.

While some forms of mixed low-level waste are permitted at Nevada National Security Site, Sisolak says information provided by the Energy Department indicates the unapproved waste shipments from Tennessee violate both site's criteria and potentially federal regulations.

And by “several years” I’m guessing two and a half..? Funny how that coincides with the orange criminal in the Oval Office’s current tenure

Get it approved.

Got a dangerous and radioactive waste sitting in the WH. Dump it there instead.

Shouldn't you secure the facts for it to be a credible report? POSSIBLY? This passes as news at CNN. Think of all the possibilities this brings into the mix. It's possible that Trump was the one on the grassy Knoll that fired the kill shot. It's possible this that and the rest

Brill end. I’m sure the Secretary of Energy Rick Perry is all over this.

Liberals not reading the article and just blaming Trump in 3....2...1...

So they're going to make the swamp radioactive.

Earthquakes shake up Yucca Mountain nuke dump talk in NevadaRecent California earthquakes that rattled Las Vegas have shaken up arguments on both sides of a stalled federal plan to entomb nuclear waste beneath a long-studied site in southern Nevada. Once again, France has a method of recycling ALMOST ALL of their nuclear waste. Why can’t we? Even if you don’t mind the idea of nuclear waste being stashed in the middle of the Nevada desert, consider the routes it would have to take to get there and the populated areas put at risk should something go wrong.
