New Mississippi governor will close part of notorious state prisonMississippi to close part of a state prison that has been rocked by deadly violence, Gov. Reeves says in first State of the State address. 'I have seen enough,” Reeves said. 'We have to turn the page.' I really don't see how this stops the violence since, you know, the prisoners are committing the violence, not a building, and the prisoners are just going to be moved somewhere else. How many of those 12 deaths were suicide? And how do these changes stop the gang violence? 🧐 😂😂 “In Mississippi, we know there is pride in a trade. We know that there is money to be made,” Reeves said. “We can let the East Coast have their ivory towers. We can let the West Coast have a generation of gender studies majors. We will take more jobs and higher pay.”
