The frontal lobe, the anterior cingulate, the ventral striatum, and the amygdala all comprise the executive circuitry that has been repeatedly shown to be involved in causing ADHD. You know there are alternatives to perpetual negative language in discussing ADHD traits and challenges, right? Emotional dysregulation is significantly less stigmatic than Deficient emotional self-regulation, a term that reeks of individual moral failing.
