WASHINGTON—For the first time since Democrats took control of Congress, their agenda could begin to grind to a halt this month, renewing tensions in the party overUp until now, Democrats have been able to confirm most of President Biden’s nominees and are expected to pass a coronavirus relief package with a simple majority, using a special procedure reserved for budget bills.

Imagine thinking that the second amendment is inalienable. But the right to vote of citizens isn't.
This may date me, but hear me out: in the old days, legislators who wanted to pass a bill but faced opposition would, you know, compromise.

They should be careful on ending the filibuster. Cancel Dr Seuss, cancel Mr Potato Head. cancel girls, cancel boys, cancel books. This is how Trump was elected. This is how the GOP will quickly regain the Congress. I would leave the filibuster be.
