Former Rep. Corrine Brown, who represented the Jacksonville area in Congress for 24 years before being defeated in the 2016 Democratic primary by Rep. Al Lawson, announced her decision to mount a comeback bid in Florida’s newly redrawn 10th Congressional District, offering details in a press release posted on her campaign website.
Brown noted that her conviction has “shown her firsthand the inequality of the American judicial system” in a statement posted on her website. “It’s a calling. It’s a service. It’s like a minister, [who has] a calling,” Brown said. “It’s something that I prayed over, and I just know that I can make a difference.”
FL do not vote for her....time to vote politicians that have morals , honesty and most of all not socialist progressive agendas.
Well yes, mail and tax fraud with prison are all resume enhancements to the Democrats - she's a keeper.
Because she knows that many politicians are criminals & being a politician is a free pass. If she doesn’t leach off of her state she will have to get a real job. Oh, Hell No! Easier to continue to be a criminal.
So now federal felons can run for office? Can’t even pass a background check for a clearance!
She's a poster child for democRats. biden will endorse her because she is____________(fill in the blank).
Will Irvin Meyers and the Flarda Gatas endorse her?
I remember this woman at a charity golf event showing up in a bright yellow dress with a bright yellow hat and then shortly thereafter she was tried in a court of law and found guilty.
She's broke!
Why not?
This one is known as the moon in her hometown. There ought to be a law against a criminal running for any office of any kind in the USA.
