Democrat Mary Peltola beats Sarah Palin in Alaska's at-large House raceDemocratic Rep. Mary Peltola quashed a challenge from former Gov. Sarah Palin (R) to win Alaska's at-large House seat, the state's Division of Elections announced Wednesday. ❤️❤️❤️ Good for her. The people of Alaska deserve decent, honest, reliable representation.
Great job Mary. hocwatch When was this election? Sarah Palin crossing the bridge to nowhere. Just what we need another birthing person. Lisa Murkowski and Mary Peltola projected to win Alaska races, defeating Trump-backed opponentsIn Alaska, Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R) and Rep. Mary Peltola (D) are projected to win their races, defeating Trump-backed opponents Happy Thanksgiving Donald! 😛 I can understand why it took so long to count votes in Alaska but why did it take so long in California? Were they hauling ballots by mule teams across Death Valley or up the Morongo Pass?

Murkowski, Peltola reelected in Alaska's ranked-choice voting, ABC News reportsNone of the candidates in the Alaska Senate or House race received 50% of the vote on Nov. 8, triggering ranked choice voting to determine winners. Yet another election story without the actual vote totals. Republican ha The election was almost a month ago. Rank choice is a sham
NBCNews I first voted for the beautiful beautiful brilliant Sarah Palin when she & the old maverick fella tried to beat some other guy Damn and Palin is pretty hott maggieKTVB7 Well there ya go! SarahPalinUSA Do we know the final house counts D vs R yet ? NBCNews Not much to defeat when there were 3 candidates- dividing the Republican vote in half lol
NBCNews Another election that took forever to count votes goes to democrats!!! Who would have guessed? NBCNews Tucker Carlson is number ONE NBCNews Two weeks later…and the Dems didn’t steal this one too! NBCNews Wasn't this called weeks ago? NBCNews Everybody's 3rd choice 'wins' due to the insane and unconstitutional 'ranked-choice-vote' whereby you case votes for people you can't stand. Utterly corrupt Lisa Murkowski pushed for it.
Mayorkas impeachment push likely to stall in narrowly-divided House, Democrat SenateThe Republican push to impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas faces obstacles with Congress divided between the GOP and Democrats. 🤣💯I hadn't even heard. One of the truly useless members of this administration! That's unfortunate. He's by far the worst DHS Secretary ever. A complete failure. The US will be cleaning up after him for years.
NBCNews If you had lived in Alaska you would know how separated the communities are in the largest state of the US. Not everyone that loses is cheated. Ask how many Alaskans can drive to their State Capitol. I lived in Anchorage and spent a summer working in Fairbanks. Never saw Russia JWeber988 Woohoo 🙌🎉

Shouldn’t take but a day or two to hear all about the rigging…😂 Thank God Bullshit Well lookit that👍 Alaskans often burn their trash. This time, they just defeated it.
Jesus how long does it take to fucking count ballots.....in ALASKA. Not like there are millions of people there.
Good! Take that SarahPalinUSA!!! You lost!!!!!!!!! Please Sarah don't claim fraud. You were legit voted in once, and now out. Thank you Alaska for keeping her irrelevant. We appreciate you more than you know! 👏👏👏 That is how it should be. Congratulations to Ms. Peltola! If Alaska did not have two GOP candidates battling it would have stayed Red. Goes to show even the GOP is fighting it own self. Sad to see.

It also helped that Palin, an old friend of Peltola’s, frequently praised her during debates and other public appearances. Amanda Andrade-Rhoades / AP file Nov. 24, 2022, 1:12 AM UTC By Democrat Mary Peltola has won the race for Alaska’s at-large congressional seat, NBC News projected Wednesday, defeating former governor and GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. Peltola served in the Alaska House of Representatives from 1999 to 2009.. While the election was held earlier this month, the race was not called for weeks because of Alaska’s new ranked-choice voting system where voters rank the candidates in order of preference. After the first round of voting, Peltola led Palin by more than 20 percentage points, with Republican Nick Begich, a scion of one of Alaska’s most well-known political families, in third. For races in which no candidate earns 50% of the vote, the candidates with the fewest votes are eliminated. But because Peltola failed to win more than 50 percent, the voting went to a second round with Begich eliminated and his votes redistributed to those voters’ second choice. The three-way race was a rematch of a special election held earlier this year. Trump had long vowed to unseat the senator, predicting in 2018 that she “will never recover” politically for voting against one of his Supreme Court nominees, Brett M.
