D.C. attorney general sues Mark Zuckerberg over Cambridge AnalyticaD.C. Attorney General Karl Racine announced today he is suing Mark Zuckerberg for failing to protect Facebook users during the Cambridge Analytica privacy scandal. Penalties should be based on a percentage revenue to properly incentivize companies like Facebook to protect their users. I'd suggest 5 to 10 percent. Good!!! That's ridiculous. Campaigns mine data. How is that his fault? It was for political purposes which have much more liberal constitutional protections than commercial use. He is welcome to make that sort of thing more difficult in the future.
