Since “Crime Scene,” the majority of Netflix’s 2021-premiering original true-crime docuseries have failed to crack the top 10 U.S. TV series ranking for more than at least 14 consecutive days following debut.
This helps explain why “Cocaine Cowboys” has the highest FlixPatrol score after “Night Stalker” and “Crime Scene.” The FlixPatrol score, which gauges audience appeal, is calculated based on the position and duration of a title within Netflix’s U.S. top 10 TV series ranking. Of course, the return of “Tiger King” has been a recent outlier, as it was the first 2021-premiering Netflix true-crime docuseries that ranked No. 1 in Netflix’s top U.S. TV series ranking in the day following its debut since “Crime Scene” dropped.
i.e. Put on more brain-dead Michael Bay schlock, etc. Netflix
We eff-ing live it.
People could only handle so much tiger king lol
I’ve contributed the most, it’s a fact.
Totally agree. They all seemed to fizzle after Making a Murderer. And it turns out Tiger King season 2 is bore with out the Tiger King. Tap link to add Making a Murderer to your BingeWatch list
Netflix does not do true crime well at all. They should observe how ID Discovery does it. Netflix tends to have an opinion in mind and then try to force it on you by the end, rather than just tell the story.
They overdid it and the quality was affected
Good it's a dumb fad.
The game is up. Most of these docs r a waste of time that use personal anecdotes and narrative misdirection to lead people down a path that ultimately leads to nowhere but disappointment, disillusion and dissatisfaction.
