Ahsoka can't compete with The Clone Wars arc.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary While the Siege of Mandalore's live-action debut in Ahsoka is an epic display, data confirms that it still falls short of its Star Wars: The Clone Wars origin. Ahsoka episode 5 already has viewers raving with its impressive reiteration of scenes from The Clone Wars.

One of these sequences features the Siege of Mandalore, which has since been named as one of the best arcs of The Clone Wars - if not the best. The episodes feature Ahsoka helping Bo-Katan Kryze lead her effort of retaking Mandalore from Darth Maul, which offers plenty of action and even a duel between Tano and Maul that's been praised as one of Star Wars' very best.

The Clone Wars' Siege Of Mandalore Has A Higher IMDb Score Than Ahsoka Episode 5 Despite the hype around the Siege of Mandalore's live-action debut, the animated series remains higher rated. The Clone Wars arc continues to showcase an impressive 9.7 rating on IMDb, while Ahsoka episode 5 is currently sitting at a 9.5. While both numbers are incredible, clearly the rating of The Clone Wars remains superior.

Why Ahsoka Can't Beat The Clone Wars' Siege Of Mandalore The animated version has the advantage of spanning across numerous episodes, with each having the time to detail more action and storytelling than Ahsoka episode 5's brief scene. The Clone Wars, however, had hype building towards it for years, with the final season of the animated series taking six years to finish the story viewers were aching for.

Ahsoka Can't Beat The Siege Of Mandalore, But It Honors It Brilliantly The brief scene in Ahsoka episode 5 remains a beautiful tribute to the iconic The Clone Wars arc. Every detail is so specific, from the paintings of Ahsoka's markings on the clones' helmets to the spikes on Darth Maul's Mandalorian Super Commandos' helmets.
