Cuyahoga County executive candidates Lee Weingart and Chris Ronayne aren’t scheduled for another traditional debate before Election Day, but residents can learn more about their positions at several upcoming forums.

Democrat Chris Ronayne is running against Republican Lee Weingart in the 2022 race for Cuyahoga County Executive.CLEVELAND, Ohio –

Topics Thursday will include MetroHealth Hospital, racial equity and the Division of Children and Family Services. Both candidates Bike Cleveland and Clevelanders for Public Transit will be hosting a conversation about public transportation and the future of mobility at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 at Goldhorn Brewery, 1361 E 55th St.

The First Suburbs Consortium & Cleveland Neighborhood Progress recently announced 20 recommendations they hope will guide the next executive. They touch on housing, economic development and regional leadership, and call on the executive to evaluate which programs are working in those areas and develop new ones.
