Cox exempting state workers from mask mandates disregards public's health, mayor says

I would not expect much by way of intelligence with many GOP leaders, as most are infected with Trumpism. You should expect at the very least a governor who cares about the health and well-being of its citizens rather than anti-human policies promoting toxic recklessness.

It's not forever and if we can prevent hospitalizations to ease the burden on the healthcare system. We will be saving not just people with C19 but those without. If someone goes in for non-C19 and there is no way to treat them, they can die. What happen to helping out in Utah

We wore masks for 12-18 months. We stayed home for basically a whole year, only going out for groceries or top priority matters. We got vaxxed & boosted as soon as it was available. WE ARE DONE WITH MASKS. It’s on the unvaccinated now if they want to end in the ICU.

But the mayor is out of her mind. Is she really the best possible person Salt Lake City could have found to take that job. If that is true we are all in deep serious trouble.

Not sure why these people think mandates work. Kudos to Cox…. It’s time to move on….

I don't see the problem. The mask is a religious symbol at this point -- like a crucifix, except the crucifix it's probably a little more effective -- he's just separating church and state.

For a man who cannot do anything over legislation, he can certainly do A LOT OF DAMAGE to Utahns. He is not leading he is hurting the majority of people...if we could only vote today so he could see how people realllly feel.
