COVID reinfection is likely to become more common as immunity from previous cases, especially omicron infection, wanes, according to experts.

"The variants seem to be very good at evading the immunity of prior infection," said Dr. Max Brito, UIC Health.

"You have the potential for new waves with a lot infection and waning protection from the vaccine," Brito said. "In six months we've lost 90% of those antibodies and those antibodies are measured against the viral type and if you're talking about antibodies against omicron it's lower than that," said Dr. James Moy, Rush University Medical Center.

"Unfortunately, it seems like COVID-19 has evolved to the point where it will keep infecting us with new variants and new mutations," he said.

Without COVID-19 vaccines, death toll would be much higher: Pfizer analysisIn the wake of the tragic milestone of 1 million official COVID-19 deaths in the U.S., a new analysis shows that without vaccines, the virus would have likely claimed more than 100,000 additional lives in 2021. Cooked numbers Why is anyone still using the knowingly inaccurate numbers? Whose analysis? The big pharma companies doing analysis on themselves I presume. How about with out vaccines thousands of previously healthy people wouldn't now be left with serious health conditions! The vaccines have saved lives yes but others have been ruined by them also!

US has hit 1 million COVID deaths, but the number is likely higherThe number is most definitely less. There is a huge difference between dying WITH Covid and dying FROM Covid. Those who actually died FROM Covid is most likely 10-20% of the inflated number being reported by the lying liberal propaganda wing of the DNC. MOST OF THOSE PEOPLE DIED WITH COVID AND “NOT FROM COVID” !!! (MOST WOULD HAVE DIED ANYWAY) Scientists, which you claim must be trusted to the utmost degree, are on record saying death tolls are as much as 25% overstated. Sit down.

Now here's a leader that understands if you don't want your people to die you have to help other people not die first, or maybe at the same time doesn't matter. I have nothing to say about humanitarian issues. Nobody can tell me where to put my money. That's great news! North Korea would do the same for South Korea right?
