The Scottish Conservative leader says the Scottish government have not proved passports prevent Covid spreading.

YES Focussing on the vaccine and neglecting non-pharmaceutical public health interventions WearAMask and keeping a physical distance, which reduce germ transmission to close to zero will lead to catastrophic number of death in 2022.

Can he provide the evidence they don't? Surely you only have to compare the impact not having them in England is having on case numbers? And what is the issue here? Not having them I suspect puts off more people from doing stuff (particularly the at risk populations)
