Spring cleaning, meet winter cleaning. 🧼 Here are tips from the CDCgov on how to make sure you’re properly cleaning your home to prevent the spread of COVID19:

For clothing, towels, linens and other items that go in the laundry:when handling dirty laundry from a person who is sickuse the warmest appropriate water settingDirty laundry from a person who is sick can be washed with other people’s items.Wash hands with soap and water or use a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcoholFollow normal preventive actions while at work and home, includingwith soap and water for at least 20 seconds, and avoiding touching eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.

HVAC systems only filter the air when the fan is running, so run the system fan for longer times, or continuously. Many systems can be set to run the fan even when no heating or cooling is taking place. Avoid these actions when outdoor air pollution is high or when it makes your home too cold, hot, or humid.
