The rapid spread of coronavirus has sparked cancellations and postponements in the entertainment industry as safety concerns grow.

On Tuesday, the Rolling Stones announced they were postponing their upcoming"No Filter" tour in North America. The 15-date leg was set to start in San Diego on May 8 and end in Atlanta on July 9.

Las Vegas was hit with the postponement of both Billboard Music Awards, which would have been held April 29, and ZZ Top's residency at The Venetian, originally set for March 20-28. "These films will remain undated for the time being and we will announce the next steps, dates, and strategies for bringing these films to the public once there is more clarity on when theaters will safely and fully resume operations," a Lionsgate statement from spokesman Steve Elzer said. "When this challenging moment is behind us, we eagerly anticipate audiences experiencing these films.
