Cleveland police are investigating after a housing court bailiff shot a man while serving an eviction notice, according to sources.CLEVELAND, Ohio –
The shooting happened about 11:30 a.m. on West 96th Street, north of Madison Avenue in the city’s Cudell neighborhood.Dozens of Cleveland police officers are at the scene, including Cleveland police use-of-deadly force detectives, who investigate all uses of force in the city. Cleveland police spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia confirmed the shooting involved a housing court bailiff and that the shooting happened at the Madison Parks Apartment building.Cleveland Housing Court spokesman Chris Ball said he and other court officials arrived at the scene and are waiting to be briefed by police.
