, to recreate two of Schiffer’s most iconic looks from the 90’s and 2010’s, the tribute dolls serve as the perfect tribute to Claudia’s incredible and unparalleled career. “You’re never too old to play with Barbie.” the German models says in a statement accompanying the dolls unveiling. “Barbie and I have created a mini Claudia doll wearing custom versions of two of my favourite designs by Versace and Balmain. I am so thankful to both Donatella Versace and Olivier Rousteing for re-creating such striking and bold fashion-forward pieces.

“Claudia Schiffer is, of course, one of fashion’s most transformative figures – she’s the definition of a supermodel!” Balmain’s Creative Director Olivier Rousteing says of the doll. “Over the decades, she’s inspired millions with her distinctive mix of confidence, style and beauty. Seeing her in one of my favourite runway looks was one of my proudest moments – and the Balmain campaign that she shot for me will forever remain one of my favourite memories.
