Classic Garlic Bread Recipe

Calories 210 Fat 13 Saturated Fat 5 Cholesterol 20 Carbohydrates 19 Dietary Fiber 1 Total Sugars 1 Protein 3 Sodium 290when i ate garlic bread in Rome, it was just olive oil and garlic. no parm, no parsley, no butter. it was delightful. this is a riff on a classic, but i'd hardly call it"classic." i happen to like the additions BA's incorporated, so i'll give this a try, with some of the reviewers' warnings as to time in the oven.

Followed the directions and it came out like the picture, but there was too little garlic bite for me , and far too much greenery. Next time, I'll keep the baguette and butter but won't cook the garlic, add much more salt, and will lose the parsley -- to be replaced by dried oregano from my garden or the spice rack. I baked this for less than the recommended amount of time, at the correct heat. The bread completely burned to a crisp, with the fire alarm and the WHOLE deal.
