ChrissyTeigen returned to social media after more than a month with a lengthy apology for past online bullying.
After many Chrissy Teigen old tweets came to light showing the celebrity online bullying Courtney Stodden, Teigen apologized on June 14.
Never Have I Ever.Whether too little too late or not, Teigen’s June 14 apology feels decidedly more serious and intentional than her previously mentioned Twitter thread. “When I first started using social media, I had so much fun with it. I made jokes, random observations,” she explained. “In reality, I was insecure, immature and in a world where I thought I needed to impress strangers to be accepted. If there was a pop culture pile-on, I took to Twitter to try to gain attention and show off what I at the time believed was a crude, clever, harmless quip. I thought it made me cool and relatable if I poked fun at celebrities.”
“Now, confronted with some of the things that I said, I cringe to my core. I’ll honestly get sharp, stabbing pains in my body, randomly remembering my asshole past, and I deserve it.”A few hours after Teigen shared her apology, fashion designerMichael Costello took to Instagram
to speak out about his own experience with the celebrity’s bullying, saying it pushed him to have suicidal thoughts. According to Costello, in 2014 there was a “photoshopped comment floating around on the internet” which showed him using a racial slur. After seeing the fake comment, Teigen publicly called Costello a racist on Instagram, and allegedly told him, “You might as well be dead. Your career is over, just watch.” Despite Costello trying to explain that the comment was “cyber slander” and not real, she refused to hear him out, he said. Costello said the entire situation resulted in the destruction of his career, writing that he is still “traumatized, depressed and [has] thoughts of suicide.” Teigen has yet to address Costello’s statement. headtopics.com
On Instagram, Teigen’s post is flooded with comments from accounts with blue checkmarks, offering messages of support and commending her for her growth. However, some are quick to point out that the only people who can actually accept the apology are those that Teigen has targeted, with one user writing, “I’d like to see you donate money and your TIME to some anti-bullying campaigns, after school programs, and other avenues to help victims dealing with the abuse that you dished out.”
Chrissy, this written apology isn’t enough. You need to take action. I’d like to see you donate money and your TIME to some anti-bullying campaigns, after school programs, and other avenues to help victims dealing with the abuse that you dished out. Make amends the right way.

Hahhaha a month? You don’t change in a month 🙄 She’s a bully. Not sure why she’s relevant. Unfortunately its not past bullying, and not just online she did it. Perhaps an apology face 2 face for all her victims will go a long way, rather than a blanket apology written by her PR spin machines.
