BEIJING - China has revoked the press credentials of three journalists of the Wall Street Journal after the newspaper declined to apologize for a column that called China the “real sick man of Asia”, the foreign ministry said on Wednesday. Spokesman Geng Shuang told a daily briefing that Beijing made several representations to the paper over the column, which China criticized as racist and denigrating its efforts to combat the coronavirus epidemic, but that the paper had failed to apologize or investigate those responsible.

Geng did not identify the journalists whose credentials were being revoked. Reuters could not immediately reach the Wall Street Journal for comment. The action comes after the United States said on Tuesday it would begin treating five major Chinese state-run media entities with U.S. operations, including Xinhua News Agency, China Global Television Network and China Daily Distribution Corp the same as foreign embassies, requiring them to register employees and U.S. properties with the State Department.

Free press, or fake news.....

Go China! News press that doesn't respect other country should never be allowed to report in that country.

Go China!

This is why no one believes the CCP numbers as to those infected by the corona virus. All travel to and from china should be shut down until accurate numbers are provided.

This action of ChinaCommunistParty (CCP) shows to the global community the real situation in China COVID19. It only justify the action of USA POTUS vs. CCP is morally right to protect the free world. WSJ good job on reporting on China (CCP) as the Sickman of Asia.

Whats good for the goose should be good for the gander as well !

China continental No reconoce que coronavirus es su responsabilidad de salud porque antes hubo gripe asiática/porcina/endemia/pandemia para el mundo .......

Tit for tat? U.S unilateralism? Doing what ever it wants? Banning Iran sale of oil depriving them of money to buy food & medications for it's people? Same for Venezuela, N. Korea! Starving & killing humans! More like Satan than as a God fearing Christian nation? Where is the end?

Man fuck china

Tangerine bad

Of course they did they want them the hell out of China as COVID19 spreads further through the population they will need to hide what they are doing or there economy will collapse into ruin and odds are they will kill all those people with COVID19 if they cannot be helped.
