The Shanghai-London Connect project has been put on hold, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange official and a senior banker in Hong Kong. Neither gave a reason for the hiatus, which was reported earlier by Reuters.
The relations between China and the UK are under stress because China is publicing calling the Sino-British Joint Declaration a “historical document” and it is no UK’s business to check if HongKong has its promised autonomy. We hope UK will finally stand up aginst China $$.
