Right before their eyes, one by one, they left us.”Wednesday’s reopening comes one day after China reported no new deaths for the first time since January and only three new local infections in recent weeks. The country accounts for 83,933 of the 1.4 million global cases and 3,333 deaths.

China posts drop in coronavirus cases, Wuhan lockdown due to endMainland China reported on Tuesday a drop in new coronavirus cases after closing its borders to virtually all foreigners to curb imported infections, while the central city of Wuhan, epicentre of the outbreak, saw no new deaths for the first time.
