The reigning Super Bowl MVP was hurt when he was tackled around the head by Browns linebacker Mack Wilson while running a quarterback option. It never appeared that Mahomes hit his head on the turf — and if he did, it was not the kind of impact that usually leads to a concussion — raising the possibility that he had actually compressed a nerve.
“We had an option play called we ran a little earlier,” Mahomes recalled Friday, “and I ran out to the right. I got hit. I tried to get up, felt my legs go out and knew that wasn’t a good thing.” He has 15 touchdowns, including three on the ground, without an interception in five postseason starts at home.

No way after that hit he looked lost. There is no way that man should be playing.
I want a second opinion, no way in hell his head isn't fogged or hazed still. I could feel my concussion for a couple of weeks and I didn't collapse when I stood up after being hurt either!
It was not confirmed as a concussion. It was the hit to his neck and the way his whole body was pulled by his head. That type of force can result in the wobbly legs. Search for Brachial stun.

It broke my heart to see both Patrick and Lamar get concussions last weekend, specially in that manner
NFL couldn't go though Championship weekend without their cash cow. He'll get knocked out again in the first half from a week hit and there will be a 'discussion' about player safety Monday morning.

Nothing like putting money ahead of this young man's health and safety. Did anyone question that he'd play after getting his bell solidly rung last weekend? No. We all knew the numbers would be fudged to ensure he played. Player safety is a joke during playoffs.
