'A great day for America,' Biden says, touting CDC's eased mask guidance
Calling it a 'great day for America,' President Joe Biden on Thursday touted what he said was a 'milestone' marking the CDC's eased mask guidance.
Greene and Waters surprisingly similar ... Cahill had no right to say that and Waters, I wished she hadn’t said that, only for the fact she was channeling trumps stupidity! However I find it blasphemy for anyone who didn’t hold trump accountable for the deaths of 5+ people during and after the insurrectionParty!
I thought it was understood that jury members weren't supposed to watch tv or go on social media. Is Cahill just trying to scare Waters? The scary thing is she was elected to serve us. My God how dumb can these people be. I cringe each time I turn on the news. You don’t know what stupid thing our elected officials might have done. Insider trading, sex trafficking, DUI, dumb comments to incite violence. SICK
That’s not true. Cahill denied a mistrial based on Waters’ comments. He did, however, concede that Waters’ may have given the defense team a reason for appeal. Remember when trump threatened and interfered with numerous investigations in public, private, and over social media? Can I get a judge to throw Gaetz in jail for threatening witnesses during the impeachment trial?
Didn’t work for Manson, shouldn’t work for Chauvin: F that judge Really, I have seen so many other worse confrontational tweets and comments about this, why are they singling ou RepMaxineWaters RepMaxineWaters needs removed from office and charged with trying to incite a riot It was stupid to say what she did anyway. Seems like she would have learned what happened last time she did that telling People to 'get in their faces' in public.
Democrats block resolution censuring Maxine Waters for Chauvin trial commentsThe House voted Tuesday afternoon to block a resolution from Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy to censure Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters following her remarks over the weekend calling for protesters to 'get more confrontational' if former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin were acquitted in the killing of George Floyd. Chauvin trial judge says Waters's comments could overturn a verdict on appeal Bubba is gonna love little Derek in jail.....😂😅🤣 Now vote to censure McCarthy
His 'excuse' not to convict the murderer Judge Peter Cahill: 'I will give you that Congresswoman Waters may have given you something on appeal that may result in this whole trial being overturned...'🚨🚨🚨 This sounds more like white control to command a certain anger and response. What judge directs punishment to a Congressman, by curbing justice. These KKK BASTARDS ARE EVERYWHERE.
I’m a fan, but she shouldn’t of commented. Not necessary and just created fuel. Oh well, not like she tried to overturn a fair election but yea, that’s ancient history. Stupid media. Dems would be up in arms if a conservative said this; if this trial is thrown out because of her, she should be ashamed.
Dog whistle politics for people with this mentality 👇🏻 For Judge Peter Cahill, presiding over the trial of DerekChauvinMurderingGeorgeFloyd to 'opine' Waters' comments may be grounds for appeal. May have just shown (possible) bias toward defendants. Misconstruing (for the record) Waters' comments as violent & NOT civil-disobedience.
I almost always vote Democratic, but Maxine is an idiot who does not represent my views at all. I like her passion...but maybe could've STFU for another day or two? How hard could that be? I'm fine with that because it would mean that Chauvin is convicted! And the Judge is FOS b/c Free Speech.
Derek Chauvin Judge Cahill says Maxine Waters 'confrontational' comments could cause mistrial'I wish elected officials would stop talking about this case, particularly in a manner that is disrespectful to the rule of law,' said Derek Chauvin Judge Peter A Cahill. Maxine Waters called the judge overseeing former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin's trial 'angry' and 'frustrated' in response to his recent criticism that her comments at a protest could be grounds for appealing a verdict. Maxine Waters gets uglier by the day both in what she says and how she looks. Why doesn't Maxine Waters show her black woman hair instead of wearing a white woman's wig. All these Democrat Socialist are so funny! Trump says the same thing and it's the end of the world! Lol
Judge in Chauvin trial calls Waters' comments 'abhorrent'The judge at the trial of former Officer Derek Chauvin is warning that comments by U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters could lead to a verdict being overturned. The Democrat suggested that people should 'get more confrontational' if there isn't a murder conviction. DavidBegnaud Not really. He said it wasn’t grounds for a mistrial It will not lead to a verdict being overturned. A bunch of bullshit. What the hell does it matter what a Congresswoman says outside the courtroom?
Maxine Waters', Biden’s pre-Chauvin verdict comments come under scrutiny as defense eyes appealDerek Chauvin's murder conviction was met with widespread approval among those seeking justice for George Floyd, but the trial's outcome may not be set in stone thanks to remarks from influential political leaders such as Rep.
