CDC reports 5,800 Covid infections in fully vaccinated people

About 5,800 people who have been vaccinated against coronavirus have become infected anyway, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention tells CNN.

Some became seriously ill and 74 people died, the CDC said. It said 396 -- 7% -- of those who got infected after they were vaccinated required hospitalization.It's the first indication from CDC of how effective the vaccine is in real life -- and the first indication the vaccines do not protect completely against severe disease and death."So far, about 5,800 breakthrough cases have been reported to CDC.

rickatkagan 5,800 is probably a low number as not all infected people who were vaccinated have been reported. BUT, this proves the 95% protection rate advertised is TRUE! Finally, proof in advertising!

How about stating how effective the vaccine is and even performing better than projected efficacy numbers?
