‘Captain America’ Sequel in Development With ‘Falcon and Winter Soldier’ Head Writer Malcolm Spellman

In the finale, Sam Wilson finally accepts the mantle of Captain America, first handed to him by an elderly Steve Rogers at the end of “Avengers: Endgame.” Brandishing Cap’s shield and sporting a new red-white-and-blue costume, Sam saves the day alongside Steve’s BFF Bucky Barnes , and in the show’s final credits, the title is updated to read “Captain America and the Winter Soldier.” Meanwhile, Cap’s disgraced replacement John Walker takes on the moniker of U.S.

Smart move! CaptainAmericaAndTheWinterSoldier is already a massive hit! I’m not surprise if this show got nominated for Best Drama at the Emmys too. The writing and direction of the last two episodes especially was clever and full of sociocultural commentary

Hopefully they get a better director because the action sequences weren't always the greatest, especially with how they really nerfed Sam, Bucky, and Walker's fighting ability and made them look silly against the untrained Flagsmashers.

He’s just not a very talented writer. The director lacked too. The camera shook like Micheal j Fox in a cashing 747 during the action scenes and the writing was political in such a painfully on the nose fashion. Pretty bummed with both the MCU shows thus far. Loki 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
