LONDON - A majority of people around the world believe capitalism in its current form is doing more harm than good, a survey found ahead of this week’s Davos meeting of business and political leaders.

The study’s authors said that earlier surveys showing a rising sense of inequality prompted them to ask whether citizens were now starting to have more fundamental doubts about the capitalist-based democracies of the West. The poll contacted over 34,000 people in 28 countries, from Western liberal democracies like the United States and France to those based on a different model such as China and Russia, with 56% agreeing that “capitalism as it exists today does more harm than good in the world”.

Only in Australia, Canada, the United States, South Korea, Hong Kong and Japan did majorities disagree with the assertion that capitalism currently did more harm than good.

Calling BS on this

CAPITALISM was built on Slavery, Colonialism & Neocolonialism! These systems of oppression, enriched Europeans at the expense of Asia, Africa, Australia, NorthAmerica, SouthAmerica, etc! The maintenance of these systems of oppression will lead to WW3! Blackmen Blackwomen

The visit of an obscure politician asJuan Guaidio pay by the US🇺🇸government to visit Davos billionaires to seek for support for one more US regime change actions in Venezuela is a fact, that make Davos look as a🎪circus. If investments are more important than people’s lives.

Capitalism is great for making money, socialism is good for spending it, through taxes.

What’s important to me are all the wonderful progressive advances capitalism has made in America.

Interesting. But more interesting is the question, 'What is the alternative?'

Humans are corrupt, so eventually capitalism is going to go to it’s ugliest form and those in power are going to abuse those with no power. I’m not sure that’s avoidable in any system though?

Lemme guess, they asked nothing but socialists this survey.

Things capitalism gives us: 18 hour days, child labor, slavery, unaffordable Healthcare, 7 day work weeks Things socialism has given us: child labor laws, unions, the weekend Yeah I'd say that capitalism is a big steaming pile of shit built upon dead kids.

we ain't having a fucking bake sale for the military, are we? We socialize that cost as necessity but not housing, employment, education, medicine, or retirement. How fucking ghettofabulous to be proud of disintegration.

You have communist and socialist countries controlling its surveys and mass censorship all the time

Thats because people cant see beyond their own bubble.

Capitalism is the only way to expand poverty to endless missery hunger sickness and finally desease and death the cheapest way to get rid of the poorest...that is healthy capitalism!!!

but what are the alternatives ?!?

Ghouls gathering on Lybia's corpse claiming shares. Davos2020

Capitalism has lifted the poor out of poverty worldwide...

I'm starting to like the idea of war more and more. We need fresh new enemies, though.

Compared to what?

Because it is being build on economical growth

And yet, people are coming illegally to this capitalist nation.

As opposed to communism
