Buttigieg: 'I can't even read the LGBT media anymore'

During an interview with SiriusXM's Clay Cane, the 2020 candidate said he wants to avoid media that speculates whether he's the "wrong kind of gay."

During a radio interview on Wednesday, SiriusXM host Clay Cane of “The Clay Cane Show” asked Buttigieg, who would be the first openly gay president if elected, about criticisms in “LGBT circles” that “more masculine-presenting men have more access,” posing the question, “How different would it be if you were quote unquote ‘more effeminate?’”

He doesn't have time for negativity from his own community.

What kind of gay are they looking for? Tell them to shove it uptheir jumper!

Sometimes we gays need to ignore the haters for our own sanity.

Is he the husband or the wife?

The gatekeeping of Pete Buttigieg’s sexuality that lgbt media has engaged in is disgraceful. It should have never been questioned nor asked just how gay he was. It’s just plain wrong. Thank God, Pete had the good sense to stay away from the toxicity for his own sanity!

There is a LGBT media? What about the Q? Are you dismissing the Q folks? Time to march for the Q

His platform isn’t about being gay! He’s running for President on the issues at hand; equal rights for ALL is a part of it but not the main part.

That kinda makes their point, though, no? Just a thought.

Reminds of the backlash against blacks for being too-white! You either are or you ain’t!
