Alaska's News Source Chief Meteorologist Melissa Frey, guided by expert driver Trace from Wasilla, takes a spin on the bumper cars on the last night of the Alaska State Fair.

Food insecurity is an ongoing challenge for many families across the state. In order to answer the call and make a difference, Channel 2 and CBS 5 have partnered with Fred Meyer on the"Feeding Alaska" project during the month of September.
