She was the mother of retired Buffalo Fire Commissioner Garnell Whitfield, who told The Buffalo News she was “a mother to the motherless” and “a blessing to all of us.” Whitfield attributed his mother’s strength and commitment to family to her strong religious faith.
It's disturbing all the racial epithets that are going on against my race,the white race ,for something that was despicable that most of us would never condone to happen! We need to place blame where blame is due and not to blame a whole race of people for one person's actions!
