Only a relatively small number have done so once, and even fewer have managed the showing twice. When looking at those acts that have replaced themselves at No. 1 on the Hot 100 more than once, BTS join fellow superstars Drake, The Beatles, Usher, T.I. and Justin Bieber. The Beatles became the first act to accomplish this feat more than once, which is especially impressive considering the Fab Four made history when they also became the first to do so at all way back in 1964.
40 years would pass before The Beatles were joined in this feat, as Usher swapped his hit “Yeah!” with Ludacris and Lil Jon for his own “Burn.” The R&B crooner nearly repeated The Beatles’ amazing performance by scoring back-to-back-to-back No. 1 smashes, but his run atop the tally was interrupted by Fantasia Barrino’s “I Believe.
