LONDON - British police shot a man on Friday after a stabbing in the London Bridge area in the center of the city.
“One man has been shot by police,” police said. “As a precaution, we are currently responding to this incident as though it is terror-related,” they added. Reuters pictures showed several police cars and buses on the bridge. Armed police, some with dogs, patrolled the surrounding streets.
In the USA, he would have had an AR-15 and dozens of people would have been murdered. Thank goodness for the UK's life-saving gun laws.
A single police shooting in the UK is international news, in the USA it's just whatever o'clock.
