The streaming giant has handed out a series order for an untitled spinoff focusing on the origin story of Queen Charlotte .
“Many viewers had never known the story of Queen Charlotte beforebrought her to the world, and I’m thrilled this new series will further expand her story and the world ofuniverse so they can keep delivering for the fans with the same quality and style they love. And by planning and prepping all the upcoming seasons now, we also hope to keep up a pace that will keep even the most insatiable viewers totally fulfilled,” Netflix’s Bela Bajaria said in a statement Friday.

At least Netflix and Shonda Rhimes isn't afraid to go there. It maybe a fictional story, but more research needs to be done with Queen Charlotte y'all know she had possibly a black bloodline.
