Lydia Evans-Hughes struggled to get to the church in Eccleston, England, on time after the vintage car she was taking to her wedding broke down.

"The most incredible and sincere thanks to the police. Without them what would we have done?"

Traffic Wales tweeted about the incident and an image of the bridal party left stranded on the highway as cars whizzed by. Geddes said he was"glad to have been of help" in what must have been"a stressful situation" for the bridal party.
