Bravo has fired one of the stars of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” as old social media posts come back to haunt one of the cast members.

"The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" returned Sept. 21 with Heather Gay, Jen Shah, Meredith Marks, Mary Cosby, Lisa Barlow, Whitney Rose and new cast member Jennie Nguyen. Season 2 episodes are still airing.Bravo has fired one of the stars of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” — and it’s not the one who is facing federal fraud charges or the one who has repeatedly said racist things on the show.

After production on Season 2 of “RHOSLC” ended, social media posts Nguyen made in 2020 surfaced. She referred to members of Black Lives Matter as “thugs” and “violent gangs.” She shared a cartoon of an older white woman saying that the stick figures on the back of her car represent “how many rioters I’ve hit.” She also shared a debunked story that falsely accused George Floyd of rape.

Nguyen apologized “for my deleted Facebook posts from 2020. ... At the time, I thought I was speaking out against violence, but I have since learned how offensive and hurtful my words were.” She did not explain how joking about running over “rioters” was non-violent. The old posts were shocking, not just for their content but because they came from Nguyen. She has been, for the most part, a voice of reason in Season 2 of “RHOSLC.” And she’s been on the right side of an ongoing dispute with

But they keep the crook that's been arrested.

GOOD.

If anything, they’re doing an awesome job representing Utah and the racism that exists here.

So they fired her for being a trump supporter at one point on her life, but say what Mary says about Asians, shah says about gays are perfectly fine. I guess it’s selective racism.
