It’s absolutely fantastic!!

IF Dune BO number isnt as high as they expected than they should take the blame on their own. I like WB when they produce a good movie but at the same time i really despise their inner politic nor their 'stupidity' in handling their potential IP.

no, pirated HD version has appeared MANY days ago

Its going to make 200 mio worldwide this week. Comparing to the other movies available same on HBO max, it's already the 3rd most successful one, after Godzilla vs Kong and the Conjuring. And by next week, it will have made more than The Conjuring. The sequel is coming.

I watched it on HBO Max just for convenience sake. I will definitely go see it in a theater now. First movie seen in a theater since Feb. 2020 for obvious reasons. Man, it was that good.

Wrong decision, premier at the same time big and small screen

Heck!!! I'll bring my little fam to see this movie... lol. Dune is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The Same Day and Date of HBOMax is a good concept, but needed to be done on an individual Film basis during the pandemic. WB premier films like Dune has faced challenges getting an audience.

My husband and daughter walked out.

Also piracy..available rn BUT if you love a movie. Watch on Big Screen...Respect..DUNE part 2 is comin

Mistake doing both at the same time

Well, new times/new barometers

If they don’t end up making a part two it was a waste of time. I wished they gave it the LOTR shooting schedule and consequential release plan, a film and story of this scale deserved it. But WB will stay WBrothering.

It's gonna drop in the 2nd weekend because of the HBO Max situation

I plan to watch it tomorrow on HBOMax. Safely. From home.

It's not really gonna be complicated. People who wants the sequel are already helping making it happen regardless of it being on HBO Max. I read around that they want it to do well on HBO Max but that's already a given.

And those who loved it on the smaller screen will be seduced by the fuller screen and sounds that the theater provides.

It’s fantastic. Go see it.

rip Dune 2. 🪦

Special effects were great but I thought it was just okay. The original movie I thought held up very well against this one plus I liked those actors better.

yeah

Fantastic movie!!

Well Whoop Dee Do

So it flopped.

That's freaking amazing 🔥🔥

I tried. Could not get into it.

JamesMGeary My girlfriend and I watched the trailer for this last night, but couldn't pull the trigger to watch it on the living room tv. This looks like a movie that would probably be better in the theater.

Audiences loved DuneMovie

Sucked big time

The problem in the USA is the kids…they have short attention spans (YouTube era) and it seems they are reading less and can’t understand complex stories.

Flop as i expected

Dominating performance,🤣

Dune was great I can’t wait for part 2. Almost wished this was a tv series so we could have so much more to look forward to.

Anecdotally and maybe someone can clarify but there wasn't a single commercial or trailer before NY screening last night (IMAX)

Good and disappointing. After the 5.1M of preview I thought it would have landed higher. HBO Max is playing a big factor on this.

Film of the year.
