Boeing reported its worst annual net orders in decades as the grounding of its 737 MAX jet saw the planemaker fall far behind its main competitor Airbus

Boeing’s gross orders plunged 77% to 246 in 2019, while net orders after cancellations or conversions were just 54 airplanes compared with 893 the previous year.

Boeing said unidentified customers canceled orders for three 787-9s in December and another customer canceled an order for a 787-8. The aviation industry is seeing a slowdown in orders, as fears of an economic downturn linger and global economies slow amid an ongoing U.S.-China trade war. They shot their own foot by trying to fool the world with a failed aircraft design.

Boeing setback can be seen also as an American industrial regression from the standpoint of competition in international markets.a super power such as US shouldn't let that happen😎

but at least they gave their CEO $62 million when they fired him Boeing 😂😂😂

They deserve to be punished, so many people lost their lives because of corporate greed. They knew the design was flawed and still pushed trough with it. They have blood on their hands.

Poor Boeing
