SELMA, Ala. - Joe Biden, fresh off a victory in South Carolina propelled by black voters, on Sunday commemorated a landmark civil rights march in Alabama, where some worshippers at an African-American church turned their backs on his rival Michael Bloomberg.
“I was hurt, I was disappointed,” Strong said as Bloomberg looked on stonily. “I think it’s important that he came, and it shows a willingness on his part to change.” He has made a concerted effort to reach out to black voters, including apologies for overseeing an increase in the use of a police practice called “stop and frisk” in New York City that disproportionately affected black and other racial minority residents. A federal judge found the practice was an unconstitutional form of racial profiling.

I support Bloomberg. He was a great businessman and mayor.
This does not look good for Mike
Shame on them! In church! For shame. Not only was he your guest but a brother in Christ and this is WRONG. I’m a Republican, and won’t vote for Bloomberg but this behavior in church is anti biblical. Shame shame shame on you all.
Not crazy about the guy but what happened to respect? Common decency?
I honestly can’t believe this
Cheri_Kentucky A group of raycisss who would rather have an Alzheimers patient as president...
How many Jewish leaders from NY have long fought for equality only to have reverse discrimination back in their face...shameful...and in a church no less
StopandFriskhadababy
So did Mike Bloomberg frisk them afterwards? And how many of them qere carrying?
Wow ' , just look what has happened to the churches over the last 25 years ! Money is the root of all evil !
You know... Alabama.......
So much for living the word of God and turning the other cheek. Very sad.
Idiots
I don't like Bloomberg but as mayor of NYC his policies saved thousands of black lives. And he was right that most murders were committed by young African Americans. Why are these people turning their backs on him? For saving those lives and for telling the truth?
What's the lesson here: when you're a mayor of crime infested city do nothing like the rest of the Dems.
Disrespectful. No matter what, that's disrespectful. The land of the free.
Such a rude congregation. You make your community look bad!
Bloomberg is the antithesis of Selma Alabama.
Ouch.
Shameful, classless and disrespectful behavior, & in the house of the Lord. MikeBloomberg apologized for S&F; are these folks going to keep persecuting him ad infinitum? Let it go. Fact is...crime went down; jobs and Black businesses increased per Bloomberg's efforts.
It's ok, it's not like he can see over the pulpit anyway. He'll never know unless he sees a clip like this...
Crime in NYC at the time of stop and frisk was out of control and it was predominantly one demographic doing 99.9% of it. He did what had to be done.
I always thought politics at the pulpit was a violation of the church’s tax exemption law? TheJusticeDept
Ignorant
Can’t they stop and frisk him on his way in? Seems appropriate.
That’s just rude.
Epic glove slap
